New York State Troopers have a new station to call home in Fredonia. Picone Construction Corporation recently completed construction on the Trooper Station located at 1081 Main Street in Fredonia, approximately one mile from the NYS I-90. Designed by Sage Engineering Associates, LLP, the all-brick facade with columns, flag poles and a commemorative stone in memory of other Troop A Officers, is a stately entrance for the NYS police to call home. The new space features a secure entryway, octagonal foyer with color changing lights, multiple offices, a large meeting room, and fully equipped locker rooms for both male and female Troopers.
Picone built the 4,850 square foot Trooper station from the ground up. Their scope of work for this project includes: complete site development, survey work, rough carpentry, framing lumber and trusses, brick veneer, concrete formwork and precast concrete, metal fabrication, roof system, spray foam insulation, steel doors and frames, metal studs/drywall, air barriers, louvers, overheard doors, rebar, millwork, ceramic tile and epoxy floor, chain link fence, signs, display cases, painting, carpet, flagpole, earthwork, security windows, as well as HVAC, plumbing and electric.
