The novelty of the return of Pizza Hut to the Western New York area is not losing momentum. On Tuesday afternoon, the newest Pizza Hut location at 4770 Transit Road in Depew held a soft opening and the excitement was palpable. Adults gathered around reminiscing about the joy of a personal pan pizza, children yelled out of car windows asking if Pizza Hut was open, and friends called from cell phones to share the exciting news. This is the third Pizza Hut completed by Picone Construction in partnership with Silvestri Architects, P.C., with more to come. As with previous locations, the restaurant will be carry-out only featuring a digital menu and POS system for customer ordering. Future locations scheduled for completion by Picone will be in Buffalo, Amherst, and Lockport.
Picone’s scope of work for these projects include: demolition, underground work and floor cuts for plumbing, carpentry, gypsum systems, owner equipment installations and connections, owner supplied technology, flooring, doors and hardware, insulation, acoustical ceilings, window tint, roofing tie-ins, and fire protection systems.
